R Electronics bottles water with new super-compact HRO watermaker at Sydney International Boat Show

Marine electronics and navigation guru, Errol Cain has supervised the installation of marine electronic systems into thousands of luxury cruisers in his 22 years experience. This issue Errol will discuss the new HRO Seafari 750 super-compact watermaker.

R Electronics, Australia’s exclusive distributor of internationally leading marine electronics is demonstrating the recently launched HRO Seafari Mini 750 watermaker at the 2011 Sydney International Boat Show.

As the saying goes, ‘good things come in small packages’ and this super-compact watermaker is no exception.  The 750 produces 117 litres per hour, giving it the largest production capacity for its size.

R Electronics will be making water with a HRO 750 compact at its display at the Sydney International Boat Show where visitors can pick up a bottle of desalinated water to sample from their stand at the Riviera on-water display.

R Electronics managing director, Errol Cain, said the Seafari Mini was a very compact design to fit in tighter spaces or on smaller vessels.

“The new HRO Seafari Mini is one of the smallest watermakers available, it takes up less room on board but makes a large capacity of water for its size,” Errol said.

“It is extremely quiet and has complete vibration isolation as well as HRO’s exclusive Solid Salinity Meter for water monitoring.

“A Product Water Diversion Valve ensures only safe drinking water enters the storage tanks.

“We will be making water with a HRO 750 compact at the Sydney International Boat Show and we invite visitors to come to the Riviera Electronics stand to sample a bottle of fresh desalinated water.”

Errol said HRO was the number one selling brand of watermaker in Australia.

“They have sold more watermakers than any other brand in Australia by a significant margin and have been building watermakers for the past 30 years so HRO is a truly tried and tested brand that is leading the field in new technology,” Errol said.

“R Electronics will be making water on the marina in Darling Harbour, Sydney so I encourage people to come along and pick up a bottle of freshly made water and taste it for your self.

“Having a watermaker on board is a great investment for those planning a coast voyage or wishing to stay on board for an extended period in a secluded location such as Lady Musgrave in Queensland’s Great Barrier Reef.  You don’t have to leave your idyllic paradise anchorage to top up your tanks.  You can stay out and let your watermaker make it for you.”

The new HRO Seafari Mini 750 measures 1192mm (including membrane and filters) wide by 508mm high.

R Electronics is the Australian distributor for HRO Desalination, Lumitec LED Lighting and OceanView Thermal Imaging Cameras.  For more information visit R Electronics at 50 Waterway Drive, Coomera, Queensland or online at www.relectronics.com.au or call +61 07 5561 7900.
