Extra! Extra! Read all about it Riviera buyers guide hits the news stands

Riviera will feature in a 68-page collectors edition supplement attached to Issue 416 of Trade-a-Boat magazine, which hits the news stands on July 13.

Editor of Trade-a-Boat David Lockwood said the official 68-page stand-alone Riviera Buyer’s Guide was a must-have for all Riviera owners and enthusiasts, and it’s free with every issue.

“It's not everyday that you come across an Australian manufacturing success story like Riviera. Its boats have stood the test of time and provided owners with hundreds of thousands of collective hours of pleasure-boating enjoyment,” David said.

“I know from experience that there's a lot to consider when buying a new or preloved boat. But we make the decision-making process clearer with Trade-a-boat's official Riviera Buyer's Guide. The 68-page magazine provides everything you need to know about the 70-plus Riviera models produced over the past 31 years.

“Riviera has built more than 4800 boats in 70 different models during 31 years of continuous production in Australia. It was after pondering this great feat that we felt existing and aspiring Riviera owners might benefit from a detailed buyer's guide. So we put the print presses in motion and produced Trade-a-boat's official RIviera Buyer's Guide. There are 68 pages outlining all the specifications, production runs, market prices, best buys, collectables, top sellers, history and more from those three decades. Here's betting the guide itself becomes a collector's item.”

Riviera’s director of brand and communications Stephen Milne said it was an honour for Riviera to be featured so extensively in this supplement.

“Trade-a-Boat is an Australian boating icon in fact it has been for decades, it is often referred to as the boaters Bible, and I am very impressed with the high quality publication of the Riviera Buyer’s Guide which I feel is more than a buyer’s guide but rather another piece of Riviera history and a keepsake for all Riviera enthusiasts,” Stephen said.

Trade-a-Boat Issue 416 goes on sale on July 13 and will be available at the 2011 Sydney International Boat Show.

Riviera applauds staff achievement

The dedication, hard work and team work employed by all 400 Riviera staff was commended this month with a celebratory barbecue held onsite to congratulate staff on their effort and the company’s success over the past 12 months.

Riviera CEO John Anderson said much of the company’s recent success was due to the high level of commitment from staff.

“I commend everyone for their tireless effort, especially in the lead up to the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show where every single person on site raised the bar, put in extra hours and went the extra mile to make sure we achieved our targets, and the results from the show selling 10 new Rivieras are testament to the dedication and team spirit here at Riviera.”

From boat builders to office staff, everyone onsite enjoyed a barbecue lunch and celebrated their hard work over the past 12 months.
