Riv Kidz Club

COLOURING COMPETITION WINNER!

Congratulations to Josh Toohey, 4, from Parkwood, Western Australia. Josh is the winner of last issue’s colouring competition. Your Riv Kidz Club cap and drink bottle is in the post.

Josh explained his drawing by saying the channel markers are from NarrowNeck, Rottnest Island where his family holidays.

"The floating starboard which marks the start of the NN channel; the port which marks the start of the bay, the south which we pass to get to our mooring and the east which marks one of the reefs.  The orange markers are what we pass as we exit/enter challenger harbour which is where our pen is.

And at the bottom of the pic is the beach at NarrowNeck with the little rocky outcrops where we play each day and the green is the shallow sandy bottomed water and the blue is the deeper water - just like it is on the chart.

The danger and the port (middle of the page) are from Thompsons Bay which is the bay we go through on our way down to NN.
