Best Boat Name Competition

BOAT NAME COMPETITION WINNER!

Congratulations to Greg and Sheryl Spencer for their entry "N’JOY".

Greg said, Back in 2010, we acquired a late model Platinum 36SC Open Flybridge from the Whitsundays and drove her to Cairns. We got caught in unforecast blustery 30Knot S-SW winds and heavy seas for 2.5 of the 4 days of the passage.

She never missed a beat and I was amazed as to her handling of the seaways during the trip.

Her name at the time was "N'JOY", which we have retained as it exemplifies exactly what we do when aboard - cruising the tropical islands and fringing reefs of the nearby Great Barrier Reef waters surrounding Cairns, Family Island, Port Douglas and the Daintree.

I have not seen another vessel with this name in all my 30+ years on the water as a professional, so I think it is fairly unique.
