Riviera owners frame 30 years of Riviera history

Perth, Western Australia: When Jason and Julie Toohey rolled out their piece of Riviera history, they spent a good 20 minutes pouring over the limited edition poster.

Julie said it was a wonderful commemorative poster to celebrate Riviera’s 30th anniversary.

“What a lovely gesture to make them available to all current owners,” she said.

“Well done Riviera – 30 years to be proud of.  Bring on the next 30.”

Jason said, “We will frame it and then it’s going straight to the pool room where it will be hung up next to a famed photo of our boat.”

The first thing Jason and Julie did was look up the three models they have owned to see how many were produced and over what timeframe.

“We learnt that our current boat, a 41 Open Flybridge hull number 51 was the last build of that model,” said Jason.

“We really enjoyed looking at the earlier models to see how the style and design had changed and evolved over the past 30 years.

“It was also interesting to note how much bigger boats are now compared to 10, 20 and 30 years ago.”
