Riviera boasts largest display at the Melbourne Summer Boat Show

Melbourne, Australia:  Riviera has boasted the single largest display at the 2011 Melbourne Summer Boat Show held in February.

R Marine Jacksons displayed six current models at Victoria’s largest outdoor lifestyle event, including the Riviera 3600 Sport Yacht with IPS, the 4400 Sport Yacht, the 5000 Sport Yacht with Zeus, the 38 Flybridge, the 45 Flybridge and the 47 Enclosed Flybridge.

R Marine Jacksons dealer principal Stuart Jackson said Riviera’s six boats featured strongly at the show with the Sport Yachts continuing to create major interest.

“We were the only exhibitor to host a function for 65 of our VIP guests who enjoyed drinks and hors d’oeuvres while they viewed our boats,” he said.

“We recorded strong results and sales success at the show and once again the ‘I Love Riv’ stickers and bags were a hit with Riviera enthusiasts.”

Stuart said the show was a family run show with 11 people including staff, family and friends working on the R Marine Jacksons/Riviera stand.

“Melbourne has always been a successful show for us and it is a great way to start the Australian boat show season.”

Sprawling from Docklands’ NewQuay down to the festive piazza at Waterfront City, the event had a range of entertainment and activities such as gourmet food, wine, fashion, sailing and canoeing, boat rides, live music and giveaways.
