Riviera Syndication reports increased sales in new boat syndicates

Riviera Syndication has exceeded sales expectations with shares sold in six new boat syndicates.

Riviera Syndication managing director John Russell said there had been a marked increase in syndication shares this year.

“We have sold 23 shares in the first quarter of 2010 valued at more than AUD $2.6 millon, representing an increase of 475 % over last year,” Mr Russell said.

“Shares have been sold in six new boat syndicates, including 5800 Sport Yacht syndicates in Sydney, Hamilton Island, Sanctuary Cove and Perth, a second 45 Flybridge at Hamilton Island and a 3600 Sport Yacht where all 10 shares have been sold to the Salacia Waters apartment development on the Coomera River at Paradise Point on the Gold Coast.”

The 5800 Sport Yacht for Sydney to Hamilton Island is planned for an October 2010 launch; this boat is unique in that it will spend the majority of its time in Sydney, then during the mid winter months it will be relocated to Hamilton Island, giving Syndication owners the opportunity to experience different waterways and utilise their boat all year round. Owners will also have the opportunity of joining our skipper on the voyages to and from tropical north Queensland. The 5800 Sport Yacht based at Hamilton Island, the 5800 Sport Yacht at Sanctuary Cove and the 5800 Sport Yacht in Perth are planned to be delivered in 2011.

Riviera Syndication will promote all currently available syndicate boats at the upcoming Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show which starts on May 20; including the 5000 Sport Yacht based at Sanctuary Cove, and the 3600 Sport Yacht also based at Sanctuary Cove.

“Last year we had great success at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show including social functions for our owners and 12 shares in Riviera 5800 syndicates.

“People are becoming more confident in the future following the global financial crisis and as the economy stabilises, people are starting to think again about their lifestyle options.

“Our owners take a 10 per cent equity share in the boat, it’s very convenient for them because they don’t have to do any of the work on the boat what so ever. Riviera Syndication does all the cleaning and maintenance – it’s absolutely ideal for busy people. It is truly walk on-walk off boating.

“They get 33 days a year where it is their boat and they can use our automated online booking system to secure their time afloat. All the popular times including weekends are shared evenly between owners.

“It’s a very smart and very clever way to go boating.

“I encourage people not to delay as remaining shares are now selling quickly for these latest models.”
