RIVIERA 41 OPEN FLYBRIDGE
ACCOMMODATION OPTION
Continual product development has seen more innovation to the popular Riviera 41 Open Flybridge model.
Since its launch in March 2007, Riviera has sold more than 50 of the sleek new-look two-cabin model.
Now this boat is being offered with an even more generous size starboard guest cabin. The new layout, developed following market feedback, includes a comprehensive redesign of the guest accommodation area, extending and remodelling the guest cabin after deleting the second bathroom. As well as adding floor space, the cabin includes a third fore-and aft bunk and additional storage forward.
Riviera’s Concept Design Manager Neil McCabe describes the Riviera 41 as: “an evolution of the styling we introduced with the new era Riviera 40 six years ago.
“This is a big volume boat at 43 feet and three inches hull length and a beam of 15 feet.”
Standard engine configuration on the Riviera 41 Open Flybridge is twin Caterpillar C7 ACERT turbo diesels rated at 339kW/460hp.
RIVIERA 48 OFFSHORE EXPRESS
The Riviera 48 Offshore Express is the first in a new line from Riviera - a breed of purpose-built sport-fishing vessels that are equally at home as family entertainers anchored in a secluded cove. The true Sport Utility Vessel.
The Riviera 48 Offshore Express has a rugged sophistication while maintaining the luxurious and functional interior typical of all Rivieras, featuring two cabins and two bathrooms.
Based upon Riviera’s proven blue-water hull design, the hydrodynamics are exceptional, with running surface and chines optimised for a soft, dry ride.
The 48 Offshore Express is offered in three distinct configurations:
- An Open boat without a targa or coverings to the helm and deck area, suited to an after-market fishing tower.
- A version with stylish, forward-raked targa and removable bimini creating an open boat feel for great entertaining under the Sun, with the addition of protection from the weather. Clears to the sides and rear storm curtain are included.
- A three-sided hardtop with a rear curtain to completely enclose the helm deck.
The Riviera 48 Offshore Express is powered by twin Cummins QSM 11 turbo diesel engines rated at 492kW/660hp, with the options up to Caterpillar C18 diesels (747kW/1,015hp) with Twin Disc Quickshift gearboxes.
Fuel capacity is 3,500 litres (925 US gal) standard plus an option for an additional 1,000 litres (264 US gal). Water capacity is 620 litres (164 US gal) contained in dual tanks.
Volvo QL Interceptor trim tabs are fitted. This trim tab system provides highly efficient low-drag trimming of the boat. It is easily operated through a push button control panel with integrated LED trim indication.
RIVIERA 4700 SPORT YACHT
The Riviera 4700 Sport Yacht broke new ground at its launch, with optional accommodation layout, a garage with 3-metre tender and hydraulic swim platform.
The 4700SY is the largest member of Riviera’s European-style Sport Yacht family, building on the success of the 3600 Sport Yacht launched in May of 2005.
The elegant 4700SY expands on the single-level lifestyle design including an aft galley and stainless steel pillarless aft bulkhead door and fold-up window that open the saloon right out into the cockpit.
Concept Design Manager Neil McCabe said: “Our computer modeling systems are giving us greater opportunities to offer these options. Our goal with the 4700SY was to create a fully specified boat while giving our customers the opportunity to tailor it to suit their individual needs and tastes.”
Combining the security of shaft-drive diesel propulsion with an al fresco lifestyle character, the 4700SY magnifies the sense of light and space first seen on the 3600SY. Expansive panoramic windows and a huge electric sunroof in the saloon further enhance the relaxed, refreshing and airy ambience.
